Each semester GCF organizes a retreat for all the graduate students that are able to attend. They are great opportunity to get away from the busyness of school and work and reconnect with God, His creation, and each other. Each retreat has featured a different speaker to touch on topics specifically relating to Christian graduate students. Small group discussions and personal reflection time offer a chance to delve deeper into the topic. Last, but certainly not least, retreats are full of tons of fun activities! Past retreats have included: broomball, a Halloween costume contest, impromptu jam sessions, coffee-house-style performances (singing, dancing, poetry, improv comedy), disc golf, board games, card games, party games, tubing, hiking, and puzzles. The retreats have plenty of free time purposely built in so that the weekend is a chance to recharge — whatever that looks like for you.
The GCF Fall Retreat
Join us this fall for a weekend of reflection and fellowship.
With plenty of time for games, hiking, disc golf, puzzling, a nap and more, you’ll have a chance to catch your breath in the middle of a full semester. You’ll get to know other grad students (and some spouses) and no doubt make some new friends. You’ll also have space throughout each day for quiet reflection before the Lord. This is a weekend not to miss!
Registration will open up closer to the event!
