Fall 2019 Calendar:

August:

28th – Welcome Cook-Out! Come and meet other grad students at CU Boulder while sharing a great meal! Starts at 6pm on the lawn at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church (right across from the Engineering Center on Folsom and Colorado)

September:

2nd – Labor Hike and Picnic – Meet at Chatauqua at 9:30 for the Hike and the picnic to follow around 11:30/12 on the lawn

3rd – Faith in Business Practice – A free lunch time discussion for business students (MBAs and PhDs) on the intersection of faith and ethics, business practice, etc. Free lunch provided! 12:15-1:15pm; Location: Koelbel S233

16th – Mega-Group – All small groups gather for worship, prayer, and unique scripture study. Location, TBD (7-9pm)

27th – Bonfire and S’mores7:30-10pm – Tyler’s house: 3335 Moorhead, Boulder. Come on out for a fun evening by the fire! Bring your friends!!

October: 

1 – Faith in Business Practice – A free lunch time discussion for business students (MBAs and PhDs) on the intersection of faith and ethics, business practice, etc. 12:15-1:15pm; Location: TBD

14th – Mega Group – All small groups gather for worship, prayer, and unique scripture study. Location, TBD (7-9pm)

25-27th – Fall Retreat – Gather in Estes Park for a great weekend away and time together as a community.

November:

13 – Faith in Business Practice – A  lunch time discussion for business students (MBAs and PhDs) on the intersection of faith and ethics, business practice, etc.  12:30-1:30pm; Location: 365A

7th – Bake-on – Gather to bake cookies to deliver to departments, lab groups, TA offices, etc.

11th – Mega Group – All small groups gather for worship, prayer, and unique scripture study. Location, TBD (7-9pm)

25-27th – Fall Break

December:

Small Groups

Small groups are a key part of GCF’s student ministry. They provide a chance to connect with others, have a place of belonging, give us a chance to study scripture, and pray together. We meet in small groups and work through books of the Bible together. This year, we will be working through “The Questions of Jesus,” from various texts in the New Testament.

2019-2020 Academic Year Small Groups:

 – Kicking off on Sept. 2 for the Fall Semester

Monday – Small Group just for First Year Students
